Syble (Milburn) Dempsey

Syble (Milburn) Dempsey, 95, of Benton passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Helia Health Care in Benton.

She was born in Carrier Mills, Illinois on April 9, 1925, the daughter of Clellan & Ruby (Lollar) Milburn.

She married Kenneth Dempsey Jr. on October 30, 1946 in Marion, IL and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2009.

Mrs. Dempsey was a member of the West City Church of God. She was a Christian for many, many years.

Great-Grandchildren: Tyler, Matthew, Laird, Londyn, Drake, Ariana, Doug, Nadia, Chloe, Kyndall, Kai, Kree, Sadie, Beckett & Sage

Great-Great-Grandchildren: Abbigail, Jax & baby Barnett due in December

1 Sister: Shelby Lievers & husband J.B. of Kankakee

Mrs. Dempsey was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, by a Grandson-Lucas, by a Brother-Bob Milburn & by a Sister-Shirley Mae.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, October 25th at the West City Church of God with Pastor Harol Whitlock officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Church.
