Sidney Eugene Williams

Sidney Eugene Williams, 84, of Benton went to be with Jesus on October 13, 2025 at Helia in Benton.

He was born on August 3, 1941 to Robert & Anna Williams in Benton.

He went to Freeman Chapel Church in Freeman Spur, IL. He was an avid lover of anything to do with the American Eagle.

He was a loving father, grandfather and "Grandpa Great".

He enjoyed singing and playing Christian music at church and with his friends. He truly loved the Lord.

He is survived by his loving children Vevia Tindall and husband Greg, Keith Williams and wife Jennifer, Randy Williams and friend Robin, Robin Musgrave and husband Marvin, Angie Dunning, Melinda Upchurch and husband Tim. He has 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way.

He is also survived by several close cousins and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert & Anna Williams, his wife Linda Williams, his former wife Audrey Knight, his close cousins Jack Williams, Ronnie Williams and Dale Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 16th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Pastor Rick McClintock officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
