Obituary
Rodger Sanders, 75, of Benton passed away on Monday afternoon July 17, 2023 at the Franklin Hospital in Benton.
He was born in Christopher, IL on November 28, 1947, the son of Howard & Evelyn (McReynolds) Sanders.
He married Sharon Lynn (McClendon) on November 1, 1980 and she preceded him in death on March 3, 2008.
Mr. Sanders retired from Kroger's. He served in Korea during the Vietnam Era. He loved to garden and he loved his dogs.

Sharon Webster & husband David of Benton
Brother: Leon Sanders & wife Vicky of Benton
Several Nieces & Nephews & Great-Nieces & Great-Nephews
Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife and Baby Brother.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 22nd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Rev. Jim Jenkel officiating. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the Benton American Legion Post #280 & VFW Post #2671 will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
