Robert Troy Absher

Robert Troy Absher, 78, of Logan went to be with his Lord & Savior at 2:00 A.M. Sunday, January 16, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Absher was the oldest of 4 children. He was born on February 17, 1943 in Logan, IL the son of Troy & Dorothy Aline (Kirkman) Absher.

He married Patricia (Bandy) on March 4, 1967, and she survives.

Mr. Absher graduated from Benton High School. He served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam. After being Honorably Discharged from the Marines he joined the Illinois State Police and retired as an Illinois State Trooper. The love of his life was his Lord and his grandchildren. He was a member of the Logan Church of God.

Angela Sample & husband Lyter of Logan

Tina McClerren & husband Mike of Logan

2 Grandchildren:

Tyler McClerren & finacèe Mallory

Nathan McClerren

Mr. Absher was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Sister-Sharon Jackson

and 2 Brothers-Bill Absher & Keith Absher.

Private Family Graveside services were held at Logan Church of God Cemetery.
