Rev. Patrick R. Akin

Rev. Patrick R. Akin, 55, of West Frankfort, Illinois left to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 1, 2024 at his home.
Patrick devoted his life to God. His unshakeable faith was a testament to how a person should live.
Patrick was born on August 5, 1968 at the Franklin Hospital in Benton, IL 62812 to Clifford L. Akin and Sharon (Hosick) Akin.
He is survived by three siblings; Loretta and Jeff Bearden of Benton, Kimberly Akin of Mt. Vernon and Roger Akin of Benton, Illinois; many nieces & nephews,  his two lifelong friends Paul Reynolds & Schannone Steinberger and his beloved cat Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clifford L. and Sharon Akin of Benton, his grandparents Raymond and Ida Akin of Benton, his niece Makayla Andrews of Benton as well as his aunt & several uncles.
