Paul R. Hogg

Paul R. Hogg passed away Sunday May 21, 2023 at 4:26 pm in his home surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his son John & Rita Hogg of Akin, IL Daughter Paula & Willis Thompson of Dexter, Missouri, 7 grandchildren: Amanda, Jessica, Dillion, Jayden, Michael, Joshua, Austin and his dog Dumplin.
Paul was an Army Veteran. Paul loved fishing, telling stories and spending time with his friends and family. His profession was a truck driver. He did that for 38 years but he Loved working on Lawn mowers . If he wasn’t on the road driving trucks you could find him in the back yard working on mowers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 
Graveside Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Wednesday, May 24th at the Brady Cemetery in Akin with Bro. Ivan Ryan officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Benton American Legion Post 280 & VFW Post 2671. There will be No Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
