Sparta - Melody Diann (Picantine) Mincheff passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, IL with Morton Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, IL providing arrangements and Pastor Tim Gregory officiating.

Melody was born October 9,1960 in Christopher IL to Lego and Dixie Lee Picantine.

She married Chris Mincheff on July, 23, 1989.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Mincheff of Sparta, IL , mother, Dixie Lee Spotanski of Sesser IL, son, Dustin Darnell of Sparta IL, daughter Caitlin (Jason) Vielweber of Freeburg IL Grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Darnell of Steeleville, IL and Juliana Claire Vielweber of Freeburg, IL, Sister, Christal Laird of Mt. Vernon, IL and brother Franklin Tepovich of Sesser, IL., in addition to several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice in Fairview Heights, IL or St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
