Marty Reynolds

MARTY REYNOLDS , 62, of Benton passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 30, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Marty was born on October 31, 1958 in Benton, IL, the son of Gail & Sue (Adams) Johnson.

He married Melissa (Neal) on August 17, 1984.

Mr. Reynolds adored his grandkids.  He loved his dogs, Bella & Maggie.  He was a Musician, an excellent drummer, and loved music.  He was an avid Cubs fan.  Mr. Reynolds worked for the City of Benton for many years.

6 Grandchildren: Hannah, Carson, Harper, Jay, Lily and Wesley

Sister: Jodi Gant & husband John of Benton

Brother: Paul Reynolds of Christopher

Marty was preceded in death by his Father.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. In accordance with Marty’s wishes he has been cremated.
