Lynial Lee Jennings, Jr.

Lynial Lee “Lyn” Jennings, Jr., 59, of Benton passed away at 7:30 P.M. Sunday March 15, 2026 at his home surrounded by his boys.

He was born in West Frankfort, IL on April 20, 1966 the son of Lynial Lee & Sharon Lou (Miller) Jennings.

Mr. Jennings was a construction worker. He loved to fish, play cards, shoot pool and bowl (having bowled a 300 game). He also loved NASCAR. His favorite car was a 1996 Camaro. He accepted Jesus as his personal Savior on November 20, 2025. He enjoyed getting together with The Mermaid Club and his card friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 27th at the Royalton Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday at the church.
