Kalah Lee Martin, age 90, entered in to eternity on November 9th, 2021 at Mount Vernon Healthcare Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born on July 8th, 1931 to the late Jesse Roscoe Braddy and Allie Mae Patterson Braddy. Kalah was a twin and had 5 sisters all whom proceeded her in death. Meliva, Doris, Mildred, Opal and her twin Kathleen.
Kalah is the mother of 5 children. Daughter, Jeannie Johnson and Russ, William Joel Sexton Jr, Rick Sexton, Ross Martin and Julie and Jean Marie Gray.
Kalah had 11 grandchildren. Lori Miller and Kevin, Dave Helfrich and Mary, Jennifer Zierke and Shannon, William Joel Sexton III, Jeremiah Sexton and Colette, Katy Martin, Kelsy Wix, Briana Martin, Victoria Martin, Justin Gray and Tyler Alan Gray.
Kalah has 10 great grandchildren.
Kalah was proceeded in death by her son William Joel Sexton Jr, her Grandson Tyler Gray and her great granddaughter Shyann Sexton.
Kalah was an avid poet. With hundreds of poems under her belt, each written beautifully for her readers.
Kalah will be missed by many. Fly high Momma. We love you.
