JoANN DEE SMITH, 75, of Benton passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, morning at her home.

She was born in Kentland, IN on Oct. 1, 1944, the daughter of Thomas Cary & Veral (Clausen) Lynch.

She married Beverly Smith on Sept. 20, 1969, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2010.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her:

Daughter: Cary Hottes & husband Perry of Waltonville

StepDaughter: Tracy Walker & husband Glen of Billings, MO

Granddaughter: Samantha Marshall

Greatgrandson: Jay Hertenstein

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband & by a Sister-Suellen Schad.

As per Mrs. Smith’s wishes she has been cremated and no services will be held.
