James R. Swofford, 78, of Benton passed away Monday morning November 23, 2020 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL.
He was born in Benton to James R. & Myrtle (Sanders) Swofford on May 31, 1942.
He is survived by his Partner Kathy Dwyer of Benton, Sister Jerri Manasco of Benton, Daughter Lisa Price of Ewing, by 2 Grandchildren, several Nieces & Nephews, his best friend Donnie Robey of Benton and his beloved dog Cody.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister Madelyn Kuhn of Greenup, IL and by 3 Nephews.
His favorite past time was Fishing.
James request was to be cremated and No Services held.
