James Luster Obituary

JAMES R. LUSTER, 76, of Benton passed away Saturday morning, May 23, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Benton, IL on June 16, 1943, the son of William & Margaret (McGuire) Luster.

He married Carolyn Sue (Kramer) on August 8, 1964 in Benton, IL and she preceded him in death on March 15, 2018.

Mr. Luster retired from GTE after 43 years. He was an avid collector of telephone equipment & memorabilia. He was an avid gardener and loved hummingbirds.

2 Sons: James Michael Luster & wife Joy of Adairsville, GA

Scott Alan Luster & wife Tarah of Cary, IL

3 Grandsons:

Noah Luster of Benton

Brendan Luster of Benton

Nathan Luster of Cary

1 Granddaughter: Natalie Luster of Cary

Brother: William Luster & wife Carmen of Plano, TX

Brother-in-law: John Kramer of Mulkeytown

Mr. Luster was preceded in death by his Parents & Wife.

Due to Current Restrictions Private Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 25, 2020 at the Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington.
