Floyd E. Mezo

Floyd E. Mezo, 71, of Benton passed away on Tuesday afternoon February 2, 2021 at his home.
Floyd was born in Kankakee, IL on March 31, 1949, the son of Floyd & Susie Jane (Hungate) Mezo.
Mr. Mezo was a member of the Benton American Legion & VFW Posts. He was a retired Carpenter.

Scott Hefner & wife Crystal of Bluford
Larry E. Mezo of Benton
He helped raise Joseph Armes & wife Angela of Zeigler
Grandchildren: Angel, Clarissa, Kailey, Nathaniel, Daniel, Alex & Tyler
1 Sister: Brenda Mezo of Hurst
Floyd was preceded in death by his Parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 5th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. Burial with Military Rites performed by the Benton American Legion & VFW Posts will be in the Little Springs Cemetery in Thompsonville. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
