Doris June (Adams) Benignus

DORIS JUNE BENIGNUS, 77, of Benton went to be with her Heavenly Father surrounded by her daughters on Sunday morning, February 20, 2022.

She was born in West City, IL on July 1, 1944, the daughter of Arthur and Gladys (Summers) Adams.

Doris June married Martin E. Benignus in 1991, and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2005.

Mrs. Benignus loved to watch Cardinal baseball and any sporting event of her grandchildren.  She was retired from US Bank.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 2 Brothers-Dale Adams and Ronald Adams and by a Nephew-Phillip Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday Feb. 23rd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Rev. Mark Minor officiating.  Burial will be in the Williams Chapel Cemetery in Ewing.  Visitation will be after 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
