DENNIS FOWLER, 84, of Benton and a former Thompsonville resident passed away Saturday February 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family and his puppies.
He was born in Thompsonville on March 23, 1938, the son of Grover Cleveland and Thelma Fern (Smith) Fowler.
Dennis married Donna J. (Beasley) on December 18, 1970.
He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from General Motors after 36 years, and was a member of the American Legion. His family was the most important thing in his life.

Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his Parents, by 2 Daughters-Tammy Yvonne and Christina Marie, 2 Sisters-Pauline Swenson and Freda Broadway, by 1 Brother-Norman Fowler and by a Sister-in-law-Susan Fowler.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, February 22nd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. Military Rites will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW Posts. Visitation will be after 1 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family.
