Deloris Mae Burgess, 85, of Benton passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at her home.
She was born in Ewing, IL on May 10, 1938, the daughter of Ralph & Edith Louise (McAllister) Upchurch.

Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by her Parents, first Husband-James R. Dewar, second Husband-Kenneth M. Burgess, Step-son-Marty Burgess, Grandson-James Matthew Dewar and Siblings-Loren Upchurch, Barbara Sneed, George Upchurch & Marvin Upchurch.
Mrs. Burgess played in APA Pool League and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Her nickname was Bruiser.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 22nd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Pastor Donnie Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
