Val Conner Obituary

Val Eugene Conner, 51, of Benton passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Conner was born in Cook County, IL on April21, 1967, the son of George & Carolyn (Dunn) Conner.
Val was an outdoor person. He loved nature, flowers, dogs and just being outdoors hunting and fishing. He had worked in various greenhouses. He had worked as a Federal Grain Inspector. Most recently he had worked as a Correctional Officer working in Vandalia & Big Muddy. He was dearly loved by his family.
Mr. Conner is survived by his:
Mother: Carolyn Conner of Benton
Sister: Linda Conner Smith of Benton
Nephew: Kleighton Smith
Niece: Kloey Smith
He was preceded in death by his Father-George Conner.
It was Val's wishes to be cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
