Sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I'll never forget the time my wife & I were driving from Edwardsville to Herrin during a violent storm. I stopped by and Richard let us come in to get out of harms way. He was always very kind to me.

So sorry to read of Richard's passing in the Southern. After graduating from BCHS our paths crossed again as roomates while we both were attending SIU. I later moved to Arizona and although we have spoken only a couple of times since those days, I will always remember Richard as a true friend.

I will miss Richard's smile at church when I entered for the Sunday morning worship service. I also looked for him each Friday at The Cozy Table when I met friends for lunch and a domino game. Richard was such a friendly person. He will be greatly missed at church.
