Opal L. Spani went to be with the Lord. She passed away peacefully at Franklin Hospital at 10:30 P.M. on March 3, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
She was 65 years of age and was born to Margie Holland and Melvin Jones in Benton, IL on September 6, 1953. She was married to Phillip Spani and he preceded her in death, April 23, 2011. She was a homemaker, a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. She loved stock car races.

She was preceded in death by her Mother-Margie A. Holland of Benton, Father-Melvin Jones of Indiana, Step, Step-Father-Delbert Holland of Benton, 2 Brothers-Paul Jones of Benton & Kenneth G. Jones of Benton and 2 Sisters-Marjorie Walker of Vergennes & Gloria Barnfield of Benton.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. Noon to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home.
